Across India, there is a significant shortage of trained and skilled workers in the healthcare sector, thwarting its progress and adversely affecting its quality.
JSV Innovations announces the inauguration of its first ever Healthcare Skill Development initiative – ‘School for Skills in Allied Health Sciences’ at Suri, Birbhum, West Bengal.
The project has been developed in association with a public charitable society - Indian Centre for Advancement in Research & Education (ICARE), Birbhum. The ‘school’ aims to train students from rural/semi-urban background with low formal education (VIII/X/XII) at a low cost.
The school offers three courses in its first year – Health Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician & OT Technician. A total of 10 courses will be developed gradually. The courses are certified by National Institute for Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal – a central government institute under Ministry of HRD.
